  17. K.Goodary says:

I am so glad that the two women visited Iran and saw the real warmth of the Iranian people.
The first time I visited Iran, I was very anxious on my way there. But from the time I landed in Tehran, everyone was so helpful.I was invited by complete strangers to visit their families and have dinner with them.
I even stayed several nights with a family, because they would not allow me to spend my money in hotel bills .
I loved the country and it people so much that I visited the country 3 more times .
The warmth of the people. their rich cultural heritage, their values, principles of respecting families and the way they bring up their children made me so proud to have lived amongst these people. Western nation has a lot to learn from them, instead of media propaganda portraying the country otherwise.

  18. Mandy says:

Brilliant surfing, exciting to watch you Iran. The sea looks fantastic and you say it was really hot. I’m only used to the cold North Sea :) anyway, absolutely amazing to watch!!

  19. Isnopersian says:

Touching, this matches my experience of the average people, truly. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes. I wish your endeavours are working out for other countries too!

  20. Salut Marion, Hi Easkey says:

Here via BBC, too. The first thing I noticed, not to be purile but Easkey is a very sexy woman – whether in that somewhat-amusing hijab surf outfit or whatever else. I say this because it’s more profound than many – she’s sexy due to what she DOES, and loving what she does – not how good she is at posing and makeup or showing-off her body. Although of course, being a professional sportswoman, the latter must look great, too. So many miss that point and fail to exercise adequately. Then again, not everyone comes from Ireland where it’s so inspiring… Anyway, a great example to all women and feminists worldwide.

  21. Chris Hines says:

Congratulations to all involved. Surfing should cross borders, both physical and preceptual. Surfing can help but again respect for the communities of countries where we surf.

  22. f.i.m.Hossen. says:

A first step that must be followed by others which unveil the true aspect of Iran.

  23. Abdalhamid says:

This is so brilliant…the idea itself is bold and transcendant. The filming is delightful and the soundtrack…WOW!!

Congratulations to everyone involved in this!! You have just made the world a better place ;o)

    Peace, Hamid
